Terms / Conditions Of Business
Here you will find our terms of business which will form a part of any contract.



Hire Of Wedding Disco:
The hire of any wedding disco from us will be subject to a returned signed contract. The Contract shall specify payment details, arrival time, and start time (The start time shall be the time that music commences). Contracts shall be issued by our parent company CEE Worldwide Entertainment Agency and their Terms Of Business shall also apply.

The Hirer also agrees that First Impressions Discos shall not be held liable for a late commencement of a show, due to circumstances beyond our control (This includes the reception running late so restricting access to the venue to set up etc).




Wedding Disco Hire

Damages Indemnity To Equipment
The hirer shall indemnify First Impressions Discost for any damage caused to our equipment by any guest and shall agree to pay any replacement cost if necessary at current retail price.

Should replacement parts be available then First Impressions Discos shall at its discretion charge for these parts as well as the repair time costs. Should the cost of repair exceed the cost of replacement then First Impressions Discos shall replace the item instead.

This indemnity does not cover such parts that are liable to fail in ordinary usage such as bulbs, these items will be replaced by First Impressions Disco Hire at its own expense.



Disco Equipment

Power Supplies
The hirer shall make sure that the venue can meet the power requirements of the equipment to be used, so that no power supply is overloaded.

We take our clients safety and ours seriously, and should an adequate power supply not be available we reserve the right to limit the equipment that we use or to cancel the engagement if we feel that by going ahead people may be put at risk.

If we have to cancel and have already arrived at the venue then our full fee will still be payable. We will only cancel as a last resort, if we cannot find a safe solution. We will always advise of our power requirements in any contract.



Wedding Disco Safety

Our Commitment To You
We will make sure that all our equipment is suitable for the job for which it is intended. We will make sure that our equipment is insured and the client shall not be held liable for any loss or damage outside of the indemnity already stated. All our equipment where required shall have a current and valid PAT certificate (PAT shall be carried out on a yearly basis).

We carry £2,000,000 of Public Liability Insurance so that should you or any one of your guests suffer an injury due to negligence on our part then they can make a claim (This does not include self inflicted injuries caused by our equipment)

We are licensed for the use of digital music for public performance and shall make sure that all such licenses are renewed annually. We will also carry a limited number of CD's as backup in case of failure with our digital system.

We will not double book any engagement, we do however reserve the right, to supply an alternative show and/or DJ should illness prevent us from attending. If this should happen we will always try to supply a client with the same high standard of entertainment that we offer ourselves.

We will always endeavor to visit a venue that we have not previously been at to carry out a safety assessment. Should anything be found we will let the client know immediately. If the event is to take place in a temporary structure then this may not be possible, depending on when it is to be erected.



Customer Commitment

Prices:
The following wedding disco hire prices are for a show between the hours of 7.00pm and midnight the same day or any continuous 5 hour period on the same day. Please note that a set up time of 1.5 hours should be added to the performance period although this is not charged for except where detailed below.

A non refundable booking fee of £40.00 + VAT is required for all standard shows. This amount will be deducted from the final amount due.

Standard Show: £300.00 + VAT
Extra Hours Prior To Midnight £50.00 + VAT per hour or part thereof
Extra Hours After Midnight £75.00 + VAT per hour or part thereof
Setup Prior To Commencement Of Reception £75.00 + VAT (this covers the extra fuel and time required as well as staff wages. No charge is made for setup directly before the commencement of the show). First Impressions Discos may wave this charge at its discretion.
Use Of Radio Microphone For Speeches £25.00 + VAT
For Wedding Disco Hire Outside Of Oxfordshire Please Add £50.00 + VAT per 100 miles or part thereof for travel costs.

We can also offer very large shows using truss rigging (8m x 10m), high powered sound system, advanced lighting effects and lasers. These shows require a 24 hour setup and breakdown period.
